One of our advisors will call WITHIN 24 HRS to go through your enquiry, questions you may need to ask and book a convenient date for surveying your home.

This will inlcude: -Going through some basic questions, for example, condition of the house and days you are available, checking the loft has reasonable access or any other preperations that my need to be cosidered before arrival.

On the day of the survey

The onsite surveyor will:-

• Look at the timber joists and the condition of any insulation that may already exist.
• Identify what exactly needs to be done to insulate your home.
• Go through what needs to be done with you and give you a written copy for your records.
• Prepare and complete the paperwork required to apply for your grant or free insulation.

Fitting and application

One of the teams will then be allocated the task and a date set with you. It’s that simple.

If you receive any of the following benefits, then you are more than likely entitled to free installation of energy saving products in your home.

• Attendance Allowance
• Child Tax Credit where the relevant income is £15,597 or less
• Council Tax Benefit
• Disability Living Allowance
• Disablement Pension which includes constant attendance allowance
• Housing Benefit
• Income based Job Seekers Allowance
• Income Support
• State Pension Credit
• War Disablement Pension (which includes either a mobility supplement or constant attendance allowance)
• Working Tax Credit where the relevant income is £15,597
• Home Owners over 70 are entitled to free insulation irrespective of income
• Free insulation is dependant on funding availability / first come first served. The funds are not unlimited.
